Dance in the Rain

Why are we so scared about what others might think of us?
I get it, they might think you're weird, or less attractive, or repulsive even.

Come on guys! When are we going to wake up and realize that NOBODY IS PERFECT?! No, not even BeyoncĂ©.

We all mess up, that's just a part of life. We all wish our elementary days could be erased. We all have bad hair days. And yet, we all think think we're the only imperfect person on the planet. I find it ironic how hard we try to be perfect for imperfect people.

I'm not suggesting we live the rest of our lives in sweats and messy buns, but I am suggesting that we don't take everything so seriously when it's not necessary.

If we mess up, great! Laugh about it and move on. Don't be afraid to show who you really are.

Imperfection creates humans from barbie dolls. Embrace that! Honestly, I'd hate being perfect: how utterly boring would everything be?! Spontaneous moments wouldn't exist; those funny mess-ups that guys do to impress girls that make them so dang attractive? Yeah, those wouldn't exist either.

If anything, BE YOU! Don't care who is watching. Because, yes, they judge you sometimes, but who laughs in the end? Not the person worrying about someone's opinions of them. It's those who let themselves mess up and be crazy in front of others: those are the ones left smiling.

So dance in the rain! Make the most of what you have: you'll discover just how good you have it. Those who seize the moment make memories out of life. Those are they who create their life from living.

Think Positive!

Negativity.

It's a part of our everyday lives. We read it, hear it, say it, see it, think it. It's towards peoples and things in the form of words and actions.

Do we really know what we're doing?

Negativity is tearing us down little by little. Our lives are way too short to be focusing on all the flaws of mortal life. I believe that for every bad thing, there is always a good thing to counteract the bad.

The entire world changes when you decide to turn a cold day into nice sweater weather. Honestly, life becomes a whole different realm when your 'can't's become 'can's and your dreams suddenly become reachable.

Why are we so focused on looking for and pointing out the flaws we see in people we associate with everyday? It's the only moment you have of right now and you choose to think it's bad?! The grass is as green as you'll let it be! You're the youngest you'll ever be again and the oldest you've ever been before! There will always be tomorrow. All those bad things that happened today? Yeah, tomorrow you can wake up and say "Now I know what not to do". Experience comes from the bad times as much as they come from the good times.

You ultimately choose how your life is going to go. How you look at things right now is how you will see your overall life when you look back.

So what are we doing finding this moment bad? What are we doing looking at the bad in others, or the flaws of today? Present is past as soon as you blink, and it can't be erased.

So why are we creating our lives to be miserable when it can be the best thing ever?!

No one's life is perfect; it's how you look at every moment that makes life perfect.

We're all in this together. We all have bad days, but in all honestly, life was just handed to us: why are we complaining?
